School Uniform

We are very proud of the Ashperton Primary children in their school uniform. Our uniform is an important part of creating a sense of belonging as well as being practical and comfortable.

The Governors are most appreciative of the effort made by parents and carers to send their children to school in smart uniform.

The school colours are royal blue and charcoal grey.

Compulsory, logo items include the sweatshirt/cardigan, PE skort/shorts and PE polo top. These items can all be purchased from Clubsport in Hereford and Your name on it in Ledbury. Both suppliers keep items in stock in their shops; provide the same items, of the same quality and the same price and also provide an online shop.

They will also stock logo white polo for those families wanting these (please note: white polos with logos are not compulsory). All other items are generic and can be bought from a variety of shops including supermarkets.

Please ensure all items are clearly labelled with your child’s name.

We have second-hand uniform available in reception - this is run by the Friends and they ask either for a donation or to swap an item.

The new uniform items will become compulsory from September 2027, with a one-year transition period from the existing items.

Shoes	Plain black school shoes which laces or have buckles/velcro (No trainers, no slip on shoes, no heeled shoe, no summer sandals, no boots)
Hair accessories	Small, plain black or navy headbands, hair bobbles or scrunchies
Jewellery	One small stud earring in each ear is allowed (no necklaces or bracelets).
Make-up / Nail varnish	None allowed
Hair styles	Hair must be of natural colour and style. No shorter cut than a grade 2. Shoulder length or longer hair to be tied back.

Tracksuit	Plain navy track suit in winter
